At Games for Life we know from our personal experiences that having or living with attention difficulties is hard work everyone not just for the person with the difficulty but it often brings stress to teachers, parents, friends and partners. This is why we are here to help you not just to offer you a chance to seriously reduce symptoms but we try and offer as much information and advice as we can.
In our website we have lists of charitable organisations, support groups in the local area and help and advice on disorders like Autism and ADHD. Also offer information on all additional services that can accompany our training like CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy). We are always updating our website and service looking for new ways in which to bring you the best and most accurate information we can, so if you have any ideas on what we can add or change to make our website better for you then please let us know.
Proof is in the pudding
Researchers from the University of Hertfordshire’s School of Psychology supported children in Herts County Council schools, who were either diagnosed with ADHD or identified by their teachers as having attention problems, were asked to play Games for Life’s attention training games three times a week for 12 weeks, a session typically lasts for approx 30 minutes. Each session lasted for half an hour with the children tested to measure their attention before and after the experiment. At the end of the study, the researchers found that the children’s impulsive behaviour had improved by at least 25 per cent.
